The EPA has released a regulatory update for Physical and Health Hazards starting January 1, 2018. There is an expansion of Physical and Health Hazards on the Tier II report from 5 categories to 24 categories. The EPA has mandated that by March 1st, 2018, reporting facilities are required to report the revised physical and health hazards for each hazardous chemicals present during 2017 calendar year.  The new Physical and Health Hazard information can be found on your Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

Keep in mind when submitting a new 2017 Annual Report, Step 2 will show all chemicals as invalid because the Physical and Health Hazards categories are blank. You will need to edit each chemical to make it valid with the new Physical and Health Hazards categories.  Also if you have previously uploaded any older SDS that don't contain the new 24 hazard classes, you will need to upload a current SDS for each chemical.
