From the Chemical page, enter N/A in the CAS Number field. If a mixture, you cannot enter the EHS CAS number in the first field, you will enter it later in the Mixture Components section.
Enter the product or generic name in the Chemical Name field. For example, Lead Acid Battery.
Select that the chemical is a Mix at the bottom under the Check all that apply section. A pop up section for mixtures will appear below.
Answer whether the Mixture contains an EHS (Yes/No). If yes, you are required to enter at least the EHS in the mixture. If No, you are not required to enter the components but may do so.
If you have an EHS, it must be entered first. Enter the mixture CAS Number and Chemical Name. You can use the look up to search against the EPA's List of List for the CAS Number and Chemical Name.
If you mark that your mixture contains an EHS you will be required to enter the EHS Name.
Enter the percentage of the mixture that makes up the chemical.
Click on 'Save Mixture Component' to add the mixture to the mixture list. You will see this entry updated under the Mixture Component List.
If you would like to add more mixture components, repeat steps above to add the mixture component information until all your mixtures components have been submitted.
